“Research Report on  Gender-Based Violence and LGBTI Discrimination in Trinidad and Tobago”

A research about statistical data, problems needs and constraints of GVB survivors and LGBTI discrimination in Trinidad and Tobago has been carried out by a research team, comprised of Dr. Rawwida Baksh, Ms. Samantha Rattan and Ms. Renelle White. The objectives of the research were:

 

- To collect data and relevant information to accurately portrait the current situation, while developing a methodology that can be a model for future research and training of local researchers.

 

- To develop recommendations on GBV prevention and LGBTI anti-discrimination legislation to be further discussed among all relevant stakeholder for future implementation.
